Manchego cheese
Manchego is a popular and renowned Spanish sheep’s milk cheese that hails from the La Mancha region of Spain. It is one of Spain's most iconic and celebrated cheeses and has a semi-firm texture, that goes from creamy to crumbly as it matures. Varieties include Fresco (fresh), Curado (aged for a few months) and Viejo (aged for over a year).
This is a versatile cheese, commonly served on cheese platters, in sandwiches and salads. The nutty, buttery and slightly tangy taste pairs well with both red and white wines – something that can be enjoyed throughout the year and in many different culinary ways.
