Wild-caught during spring using sustainable fishing techniques, the Cantabrian Boquerones are classified fresh. Then they are filleted and left in white wine vinegar for about 8-12 hours before being drained and then packed in sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, garlic and parsley.
Eating our Cantabric Boquerones, White Anchovies in sunflower oil , Garlic & Parsley with an ice cold beer is recommended, as a perfect pairing (please note white wine in combination with vinegar creates an unpleasant taste in the mouth). They are ready to consume, just open and serve. To improve their taste top with some freshly cut parsley and extra virgin olive oil.
